OK, wouldn't want to dive bomb too much for fear of risking a derailment off one of those string guide beads.

@stan: looks great. You didn't post finished pics did you?
Have you managed to get the acrylic to harden? I used acrylic on my first build and it looks amazing, but it takes forever to harden and I'm not sure it's hard enough.

not finished yet, like all my threads...

front and sides are fine , but the back didnt fully cure, if you pressed hard enough , you'd leave a finger print embedded, sanded it back and have started with wipe on poly....

I had the same experience with acrylic...
Which wipe on poly do you use?
I used FW from the green shed on my plywood start and it came up very nicely. But it's oil based so it has a bit of a yellow tint.

Hey Fred, I'm really digging your build. Been looking at a 3-humbucker config too. Also, I have used 2 xtrems so far and I'm very happy with both, especially with a roller bridge! The tuning stability is really awesome. Just make sure you use the stiffer of the 2 supplied springs as the softer of the two compresses down to an unusable height in no time. Watching your build with very keen interest!

    cheers,
    Gav.

    Cheers Gav.
It's not quite a build yet... just getting all the parts together for now.
My son Star Wars Strat is taking first priority I've been instructed... :-)

Ah, progeny enforced priorities. Thankfully mine is still limited to "Read it Daddy, READ IT!"

Hand crafting guitars, because Death Rays are expensive.
