    cool Doc so it isn't very old then, well hasn't had many playing hours. I've had a couple of Marshall amp heads, one a solid state, the other a 100W valve head and they were great. Got sick of the cost of replacing and tuning the valves so got the digital Fender Mustang IV 100W head but it still powers the Marshall 100W quad cabinet. I still got the Marshall valve head, might keep it as a collector or get some new valves for it

    Which model Marshall Head do you have mate?, I reckon if you can afford it, then definitely see if you can get a set of new valves for it, when they're working like they're supposed to Marshalls can't be beat, I might get myself one of those Fender Mustangs as a backup gigging amp, maybe next year, Sounds Of Music have some in stock.
