    Update:

It is finally back home and working well, the guy who fixed it just dropped it off at my place a few minutes ago, I just gave it a quick tryout with my LP Studio and she's sounding good and loud, will take some pics of it shortly for you guys.

Hahhhhahahaha, good one mate........you know I'm a Rock N Roll rebel at heart, and it's time to let my rebellious nature run free....lol.

Now if I was living in Perth I'd be able to organize a get-together with you and DB for a jam session, I reckon that'd be cool.

Yep, the amp got a full set of new Ruby/Shuguang EL34 power valves, some replacement resistors and a few other replacement parts too, the original output transformer didn't need replacing since it was still good, oh and a couple of new fuses too.

The guy also modded the power transformer so that the HT supply was more like what the power valves could safely take, so it should be a lot more reliable now.

Here's a pic of the amp back home in my lounge room, with my white Ibby on it:

The amp does have some scuffs in it's tolex, but I'm really not too worried about it, I'll call it custom-relicing....hahahaha...I guess the reason why it looks relatively new is probably because I hadn't had the amp for very long after buying it brand-new from Sounds Of Music in Casuarina, the guy who fixed it had it at his place for over a year, since it didn't cost me anything to get the amp fixed (due to a deal I made with the guy) I'm fine with that, I'm just glad to be able to use the amp again for doing some serious gigging.

I'm pretty lucky, cause the guy who fixed it isn't doing any more repairs cause he's giving it away due to health reasons, he's supposed to be still recovering from a heart operation he had a couple of years ago.

cool Doc so it isn't very old then, well hasn't had many playing hours. I've had a couple of Marshall amp heads, one a solid state, the other a 100W valve head and they were great. Got sick of the cost of replacing and tuning the valves so got the digital Fender Mustang IV 100W head but it still powers the Marshall 100W quad cabinet. I still got the Marshall valve head, might keep it as a collector or get some new valves for it
