Well, I need to buy a complete Chrome Schaller Lockmeister trem kit for it as the one I currently have is going onto my PRS SE Custom 24 guitar, I need to buy some Maple Timbermate, some Wood Primer, cans of Metallic Blue spraypaint, three 250k A CTS pots, a set of Fender Pot knobs, 5-Way pickup switch w/plastic tip, Strat-style HSS Floyd Rose Scratchplate, Strat Trem spring Cavity cover , set of Chrome Grover Non-Locking Rotomatics, Chrome Neck Plate W/mounting Screws, a Tone Cap, and a set of two Ernie Ball Strap locks.
I think that basically covers all the needed hardware and materials i need, I think my problem is that I have so many projects on my to do list that I don't know where to start.....lol.
Haha....personally, I prefer it as the Woks and Docs show, with you as the main presenter mate....lol.
gee that's a big shopping list Doc but some tasty upgrades.

Sourcing all the bits of hardware is going to be the majority of the fun of doing the HotRod strat build.
sure its fun to source the hardware but the ultimate fun will be plugging it into an amp when it's finished Doc !

Yep, not to mention learning how to play "Eruption" by Van Halen after plugging into the amp, I want the HotRod Strat to have an 80's vibe to it, might see if I can find some pics of 80's HotRod Strats on the Internet later on.
hey Doc have to get Simon from the forum to play Eruption, he plays EVH very well !
it's not a solo you can learn overnight !
