    Anyone remember that Bass from the 80's that had rubber strings?
    Felt like playing soggy pasta...

    There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

    I remember black plastic coated bass strings late 70's to early 80's.......cannot remember why anyone bothered to use them as they sounded pretty dead.

    You mean one of these...

    They were supposed to sound like an upright bass, but only 50-60cm long. I saw a mini acoustic bass with these string yesterday
