    Thanks Simon. It may be a while away...got a few kits on the go already.

    I really want to attempt a tele build, and I'm considering winding the pups as well. learning learning learning.

    Its really the neck that scares me the most.....but I'll give pine a crack first!

    Yes the neck seems the scariest part to be honest, especially once you glue the fretboard with the truss rod in place. Routing the neck pocket is the next scariest thing!

    I thought of winding pups before but the raw materials themselves cost so much!
