    If it involves the strings, the high-pitched hum could be what I call Sitar-Buzz, which is sometimes caused by the string-slots in the nut, what happens is that the string vibrates against the side of the nut and makes a Sitar-like buzzing sound, a sure sign is that the string doesn't sustain for very long.
    It's definitely the body end. Will dismantle her tomorrow and see what I can sus out... May have to get a genuine bigsby (not that it would be a bad thing haha)

    No worries, well that rules out Sitar-Buzzing then, it might just be something as simple as a wire vibrating against the insides of the body of your guitar then.
