    I just put it on a kitchen scale; 6lbs 9.7oz, that just a few grams under 3kg.
    That is light! Now you really got me thinking about a ash hardtail!

    My aforementioned ash tele, finished up at 3.7 kg (8 lbs 2.5 oz). Which is manageable, but not light.
    I recently weighed a customer's Squier Vintage Modified Tele and it was also 3.7kg, so mine's in the ballpark at least.
