    Really appreciate the advice Simon, will put at least 2 on.

    Btw ive used 1k clear to finish the headstock, ill apply the headstock then clear....question.....will the next coat of clear stick without sanding as i dont want to ruin the decal, and im worried about sanding before decal application as it might leave a dead spot underneath. Any suggestion Simon or anyone reading this?
