hey JP, nice pickups ! I'd definitely go the 4 way switch option as the neck pup already has the 3 wires. Maybe down the track you can split the SD mini bucker with a push pull volume pot.
They should sound choice.
Here's the 4 way switch wiring diagram to look at. Position 4 sounds fat when pups are in series
