looks great JP, nice shade of gold. It's a bit darker than the gold tele I recently finished I used a White Knight Super gold paint

nice one JP, pretty sure I've seen some Toyota's in that colour. What clear have you used ?

I used Duplicolor clear, same brand as the gold. Got them both from Supercheap auto.

nice one. So I found the clear coat dulled the gold sparkle a bit. How is yours after the clear ? Being automotive paint maybe it didn't dull much

No didn't dull it at all, looks awesome in natural sunlight.

I did some work on the finish yesterday . Started with 1200 then 1500 and finished off with 2000. A quick polish by hand with T cut then finished it off with some title wax. It came out much better than I could have hoped, the finish looks like glass .
Started assembling this morning, I will try and get the remainder of the wiring done this arvo.
