Good choice ;-) They seem to be one of the go-to sets for those people who like the A2 sound. Should be great pickups!

Finished this build, think I’m getting better results when I look back at my first build. Tonerider rock song pickups installed mmmm nice sound, yet to really check it out. Didn’t put the cream pick guard on so made the truss rod cover from out of it just to pull the headstock into the body colours a bit more. Happy with the blue and gloss finish. Will continue to “try it out” and post thoughts.

I love the colour on the front. Goes great with the Zebra Pups.

Thanks Trevor yes it looks bit better that black or chrome - not sure about the colour of the knobs atm they look and feel cheap. After I finished the wiring I tried everything and yes all good but after screwing everything down couldn’t get any volume - had a look on the net - grounding problem, so opened the back of the switch hmm everything looked ok, so next pulled out the jack socket - sound returned - I think the tip of the jack was touching the side of the hole which I had painted with some homemade conductive paint. Heat shrink around the while thing and works a treat. Phew didn’t fancy starting the wiring over again.

Great color on the front! That is really stunning. Love the look of the headstock as well. Nicely done!

It's remarkably easy to ground out the jack (at least for me). Glad it was something simple ;-)

Getting the feel of the toneriders and really like them, there’s good clarity and a cleanness even when using lots of gain. Ive ordered a cheap fuzz pedal ($20 it could be shit but for $20 what the hell) to play with them a bit more.
