    HBG Es-1G Build

I just unpacked this little beutie, however there is a small crack in the neck. I did purchase this on ebay, from PBG.

It seemed pretty tight, anyway, so I didn't want to push it before I started sanding it.

A shame about the crack but you should be able to squeeze some glue into it and clamp it together. You've still got most of the tenon intact, so there's no significant weakening of the joint as a result.

these always come up well, nice kit. I agree with Simon - glue clamp, and move on, all good

Too bad about that crack... Nothing that some glue won't fix but it just shouldn't be there...

I sanded the body back yesterday, though a mark started to appear just above the Neck pickup.

Well I added the 1st part of the DB Uluru Red. Shame about the mark. :-(
I'm thinking about colourng the neck, then adding the Clear neck finish I have. And reccomendations/tips?

The second coat seemed to attract a bit more dust.
