Es-12g glue line rough - help!

This is my first build and I was applying first coat of stain to the back of the guitar. Once dried this was the result. Am I doing something wrong or is this factory glue overspill and an area where they tried to sand it out:

The unfinished front has some sort of residue which I'm worried I will have the same problem and if so is sandback & go-ff a solution?

I also have seem to have areas where the stain is not adherring. Any advice greatly appreciate

It is usual to have some glue spots. Use some Goof Off with a rag or soft brush then reapply the stain. Should be no problem.

You will nee Goof-Off, cotton swabs, wood filler and a dental pick. Apply Goof-Off with the swab. Wait a few minutes for the glue to loosen then carefully remove it with the pick. Once done you can use the wood filler to fill in the gap. It's not difficult. Just take your time.

Which bit are you concerned about on the back? There are a few tiny bits of glue along the seam. But most just looks like the grain to me.
