    Hi All just received TL-1 today its going to be a father son build ? looking forward to showing some pics

    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    we have done some sanding and put it together
    I have noticed at the nut there is a crack ( not sure if visible on Photo runs from middle of nut vertically should i be worried or not?

    I can't see the crack of which you speak. is it in the nut or the fretboard or the headstock?

    Probably best if you start a build diary in that section so we can follow along.

    Nice mock build by the way, have you had a chance to check the scale length? sometime you need to re-position the bridge on the TL kits slightly.
