Thread: Hello from Taiwan

    Hello from Taiwan

Hey everyone, I have just purchased my first kit guitar and so far I'm very impressed with Pit Bull Guitars and the service received. They were very responsive and went above and beyond for my first order. I ordered the guitar on a weekend, it was shipped on Monday and I received it in Taiwan on Friday.

I am starting with the STA-1M kit. The ash body is well figured and the weight is quite nice. Not overly heavy but not super light either. I haven't done much with the kit yet as I have just rented a studio to do the work. Space is a premium here and I'm just getting things moved in and set up. I plan on taking plenty of photos and maybe some videos for a YouTube channel if things go well.

A little bit about me, I'm an American who has lived in Asia now off and on for the past 16 years. I've been playing guitar the past 30 years or so and have always wanted to build my own. My background is in paint chemistry and I've worked for some of the largest paint companies as a formulator. I'm now teaching English to help support my hobbies.

    Best regards,
    Bill

Welcome Bill. As others have already pointed out with a background in paints the anticipation to see what you end up doing will be high.
