    New Member - New to Guitar Building

    Hi All

    I have just been given a LP-1MQ for a 70th Birthday present to my great surprise. I am a keen club sailor and the story has always been "you either sail a yacht or build one". I thought the same applied to the guitar which I have been playing for 7 years as part of my second (maybe third) childhood. But I think I was wrong about the guitar building. I am getting very excited about this project. I am not entirely new to the skills required so happy to give it ago. I have been checking the web site and you guys are sure doing wonderful projects and the help is phenomenal. I will be back soon with plenty of questions I am sure.
