Community Kit Build Number 4

This just arrived very late yesterday afternoon. So all I've done is unpacked it.
Will be ordering some black tuners from Adam tonight and a bone nut.
Plans are red stained or inked top, gloss black back. Natural neck (I'll be using a Dingo Tone neck kit I didn't use on my Tele.) Fittings all black (Goto Trem) , pick ups Kent Armstrong Power Blades, will use a push pull to split both pickups (the neck is also a slim humbucker) on the volume and stick with a 3 way switch. I'm hoping the pick ups fit without rings as I want a modern look, haven't decided on a headstock shape but it won't be standard Strat.
However I can't start for a while because..... space. Good thing I don't need to get to my reloading bench

kit looks great Dedman and plans sound good, time for a cleanup on that workbench !

Does the neck have side dot markers ?

yup it does. lil black ones. I thought about putting dots on but that clean fretboard is looking pretty spesh.

Some of the others had reverse headstocks where yours is conventional?

yea, 2 were reverse, 2 normal.

Unless you are trying to build a typical 80's super strat looking thing reverse headstock may look a bit out of place in my opinion.

I think that's why Adam got some of each, to gauge opinion. I'm thinking about doing a Jagmaster with a reverse headstock but its because I have an crazy idea for a surf design headstock. I'm going more for a modern take on simplicity with this, sort of that "Modern House and Garden" sparseness with modern pick ups design.. Shit I watch too many design doco's. LOL
