G'day all,
have just purchased a GR-1SF kit and I am pretty keen to get going. Just have to decide on the finish.
Am quite drawn to a sun burst finish but white all over may be what happens. I am a carpenter by trade
and have built numerous timber projects, timber ski boats, cigar box guitars, djembe drums, but this is
a first guitar kit, so we'll see how it goes.

Welcome to the forum Jim, great kit to start on. Wow there have been 2 or 3 other new members joined in the last day or so.
Sounds like you have plenty of experience working with timber and other projects. Start a build diary when the kit arrives and ask any questions there. Would love to see a sunburst finish if you score a kit with some nice grain !
