    Hello EXA - 1 Build

Hello all, this is my first attempt at building my own guitar. So my first question is, where can I find a guide on how to practice assemble my guitar to make sure that it is all there and that the neck is not warped. I suspect that the neck has a twist in it.

    Thank you for the response.

Ok, so I've managed to get some time to take some pictures of my neck. I hope I can work out how to load them in this post. I tried on my tablet but there didn't seem to be an option to load images in a post.

...Nope, there is a browse function there but it wont let me load the images.

Ok, I needed to resize and not get logged out.

Anny way, you can see in this picture that as the neck approaches the nut it twists anticlockwise.

I this side view you can see the top of the fret board on the left but as you look to the right you can only see the side.

This is the view from the other side, and again you can see the top of the fret board on the left but as you look to the right you can only see the side.

I made a practice build the other night whereby I "attached" the neck to the body, installed the bridge and the tuners for both of the E strings. After installing the E strings I found that the Low E was experiencing fret buzz on frets 2, 3, and 4.

Hi Zygoat, send Adam a PM, he'll get you sorted.
If plan A fails, remember that you still have 25 letters left.

Hi Zygoat, be easier to send Adam an email --> adamboyle at pitbullguitars dot com

That neck looks more warped than a Collingwood FC fan !

to send a PM go to 'Notifications' top of the page, then click 'inbox' then under the headings 'My Messages' 3rd from top left there is a 'send new message' button, click that and you just type the username of the person you want to send a message.

    Hi Zygoat,

As per my email, yes, this does look twisted at the headstock end. I think we should get the complete kit back and replace with a new one after we double check the neck.

We can send you another kit and include a return shipping label which you can put on the box and drop at your post office.

If you're happy to do this I will arrange asap.
    Cheers,

    Adam
