    Yet another Brisvegan!

    Hi Guys,

I've been very interested in DIY guitar making for a while now, and my wife finally caved and got me a FVB-4 kit for my birthday. I'm pretty keen to learn bass, and putting one together seems like a fun way to get an intimate knowledge of the instrument.

Everything arrived in perfect condition, I've picked up my sandpaper and paints and I'm ready to get cracking!

good stuff Mitty C welcome to the forum, we recently had another new member from Brisbane.
Start a build diary and ask any questions you have. I suggest you do a mock build first up and make sure all the parts are there and the neck fits into the pocket ok.
Best of luck with the build !

Thanks mate! It's kind of a family portrait... My nickname is Bear, I call my wife "Duck", and my pet name for our dog is "Lamb". I painted it with my finger on my phone when I was bored in a meeting one day and my wife loved it

Thank you all for the warm welcomes. I'll get my build diary started right away!

It's an app on Windows Phone/PC called "Fresh Paint". It's great for doing quick mock-ups by hand or entertaining kids in a pinch.
