    First build! RCA-4

After a long day of deciding what colour this project should be, I've decided on a White Stain with a Natural Cherry section down the middle. And unable to sleep has left with me with the bridge placement (hopefully?) marked right to have holes drilled out, before starting sanding. Length from the nut to 12th and 12th to middle of the saddles is even, and the back of the bridge sits almost exactly 46cm from the 12th.

Sounds about right measurements as PBG store site for this axe mentions 860mm scale length therefore 430mm from middle of 12th fret to middle of G string saddle which usually tend to be the shortest string length due to thinner guage and thus closest saddle to the nut. Need to be mindful that saddles for the thicker strings will require more backward adjustment to get intonation set up correctly. As it is almost 34" scale suggest having a quick look at a P or J Bass as a check measurement reference guide before you start drilling holes.

Like your taste in music and haven't listened to any wings for a few decades. Might need to dig some out of the cupboard but most of mine is on last century technology old cassette tapes. Got one of those gadgets a while back that converts cassettes to mp3, just need to find the time to do it I suppose.
