welcome to the forum Martguitar, use the 2 x A500k pots for volume and 2 x B500k pots for tone, they are marked on the pot in white lettering.
Good luck with the build !
Current Builds and status
scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck
Completed builds
scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in
They will have an A or a B on them. A = linear logarithmic taper = volume. B = logarithmic linear taper = tone.

'As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.'
Whew! Was afraid I had some rewiring to do.
I have always used audio taper for both v and t.
Not sure on current project... I have Dano style lipstick tubes for a bass. On guitars they use 100k v pots and 1meg tone... I have seen schematics where the tone pot is linear...but since real Danos often have them stacked it seems weird that they'd have different tapers?
Also I can't find any schematics for a Dano bass. The pups are the same, but are the pot and cap values also the same? Any e know?
