    Strap Button Screw fell out

    Hi Everyone.

The screw that holds the strap button on my les paul fell out today as I was playing it. If I screw it back in it falls straight back out. Any advice about how to fix this?

Could find a small dowel and plug it up, then redrill, or even try some strong glue? Timbermate can be used as a good filler too

Best way is to use a sliver of timber that snugly fits in the hole, you can dip the end of said sliver in some PVA glue to make sure it stays put.
Then simply re drive the screw.

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....
