I have the Scarlett Studio package that comes with the 2i2 USB Audio Interface as well as a condenser mic, studio quality headphones, etc, been really happy with it since it works well with my Dell Inspiron laptop, definitely worth the money I paid for it, I had trouble with the DAW software that came bundled with it though, was only able to install it once on my Laptop before I used up all my software activations, had to do a clean install of Windows 10 and when I tried re-installing the bundled DAW software it refused to let me activate it unless I purchased a new license which would cost me a bit of money, it comes bundled with Cubase Elements 7 and after I installed it I was prompted to upgrade it to Cubase Elements 8, and that was when all my trouble started.
Yeah if you check the link above Doc ,they've updated all the interfaces on the input and outputs plus the new ones can take higher output pickups. Updated the mic pres too. And great new software package. Generation 2 Scarlett USB audio interfaces will ship with Avid Pro Tools First, and will be bundled with 12 bonus plug-ins, including Eleven Lite guitar amp emulation and Tape Echo. Additional bundled software includes Ableton Live Lite, Softube’s Time and Tone bundle, the Focusrite Red Plug-In Suite, 2GB of Loopmasters samples, and more.
Ref your DAW software go to the website login disable old licences and then you can reuse Doc.
