    The ultimate strat/tele hybrid

Built by Spanish luthier Rafael Villanova Bazaga. Twisted, but very cool.

I guess Deddy the G B E strings would work with the tremelo and the E A D strings are fixed on the half tele bridge.
Would need to see a close up pic of the tremelo cavity without the cover on

I wondered that too. Gone to so much trouble with everything else I can't see why it wouldn't.

A guitarist in one of my old bands had a 9 string strat, G B & E strings were strung and tuned like a 12 stringer.

    A very interesting sound

wow thats a cool concept DK, so the G, B and E strings were dual string like a 12 string and the E A D strings normal single strings ?

    Yep, that's the setup.

We had a bit of bluegrass in the set list and with no banjo in the band gave it that jangly sound

Matt Pike of High On Fire plays a 9 string like that.

I think i prefer Chris Haskett's (Rollins Band) take on it though, with the bass strings doubled.
