maybe PM the builder.
I'm guessing its vinyl like sign writers use with a black edge sprayed on to make the edges blend, then a bucket load of clear coats over the top of it all.

Traditionally, paisley is done with wallpaper. I'm pretty sure Andy used vinyl.
Edit: yeah, he did. If you contact a local sign or print shop and they should be able to steer you in the right direction. Find a high quality image of the pattern you want first and don't expect it to be cheap.

You could look at places like "skin your skunk"yep weird name but they do guitar wraps and can do custom stuff. Not exactly the same as professional vinyl wrap ( not far off) but around 70 bucks a side and easy to work with. I got a quote on a professional wrap and it was around $480 ( could have included Mackay /Mining tax though)

NVM im wallpapering it red with black pickups it should look pretty sick.
