    the elusive Firebird

yesterday I received my first Pitbull guitar kit - a mahogany Firebird style

I've made a few guitar kits before, mostly telecasters and a couple of strats but they were
half the price of this kit so I don't want to mess it up

i'm quite confident in regards to the painting and putting together of it,
i'm just curious as to where to find the wiring diagram for the FB-1M?
    or even an instructional video?
"too many guitars" is not in my vocabulary

Hi Jon, welcome to the forum, wiring diagram use the generic 2 humbucker, 2 volume, 2 tone, 3 way switch diagram link below

    http://www.pitbullguitars.com/wp-con...m4Pot%20v5.pdf

here is a link to the instructional videos but note some a pretty old and out of date

    http://www.pitbullguitars.com/videos/

start a build diary and ask any questions you have there, there is heaps of help on the forum

keen to see some pics of the kit you scored and would love to know the stain/paint plans. Mahogany looks great stained in most colours so you would be mad to paint over it and cover the lovely grain !

Hi Jon, what paint have you got planned for the Firebird ?

will be disappointed if you are covering that sweet mahogany with solid paint !
