    Jack's TL-1HA build

    yo yo! got my kit a couple days ago and got to take some snaps today




    (not too sure about the image size, what do you guys recomend?)

    good stuff Jack that arrived quick ! Kit looks great and good to see a double humbucker tele being built.
    The alder grain looks pretty nice. Your image size is fine
    Current Builds and status
    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Yeah Jack, the size is fine for use here, any plans for the build?

    Welcome Jack and a nice kit. I love Alder teles, even more so with humbuckers should be an awesome build

    a few updates!

    ive got the bridge and neck mounted! its fitting together nice and tight, next up is sanding and painting



    (excuse the noise in the photo, i forgot to take it during the day, leave me alone!)

    Welcome Jack! Your kit looks great. Personally I can;t go past a nice black Tele. Yours should come up a treat. What are you thinking for a scratchplate? Leave it black or upgrade to something else? Red pearloid or tortoiseshell would look killer - the ultimate shoegazer .

    if i could find a deluxe tele tortoiseshell with humbucker cutouts i would be set aha!

    You could buy yourself a sheet of tortoiseshell and send it to @pablopepper to cut you one. He does great work at a very reasonable price.
