haha been away in Brizzy half of last week for a work conference, sadly didn't have any time to catch up with Pabs. Then Sat/Sunday all day at the V8 Supercars were at Barbagallo raceway. Haven't been home long enough to do any axe work.
Got Friday RDO so should get 3 solid days in the man cave.
What's happening in KB land ?

Still working on the Gretsch style guitar sanding, shaped headstock, stained body need to rub it back. When I get it to the shade I like to emphasise grain, then i will stain lemon yellow with slightly darker edge for sunburst. But you know how these things go Woks it changes by the minute lol. Waiting for some bits and pieces to come from all over the place. Need to fill tuner holes re-drill, I might get away with one but will see. It looks like faded denim presently so needs more sanding. Off to get orbital sander. Hard to find orbital sanding discs In the higher grits. I must try the sandpaper man.

sounds good KB, you got no idea how keen I am for the 3 day weekend, my poor axes hanging have been very lonely hahah

EDIT just saw pics of the GR build, coming along well, is that grain filler or faded black stain ?

I have found 320 grit orbital paper at Repco so try there or Supercheap Auto

Sometimes recording other people. You don't get to play your own instruments. So it's nice just to sit down chill learn some new chords or write songs.

I think you need to come up with something amazing to celebrate your days off Woks. Plus a few beers for inspiration lol. I've added a few pics above.
