another newby

Hi all, my 1st post, but I've been reading posts for a while.
So far my builds have been a Stewmac hollow bodied T style, a Stewmac S type, a DIY starcaster, and a PB LP.

They've all turned out great, only real problem was the strat is too heavy. I have a heinous plan to lighten it by radically routing out the back and covering cavities with pickguard material. Anyway - another project.

Another project was putting a pair of J type pups in a P bass, looks kinda like a strat with 3 pups.

At the moment I am anxiously awaiting receipt of three new kits:- all special orders.

2x S type 12 strings
1x lefty HB4 (violin type hofner style) heh heh heh!

The bass is for one son and one 12 string for another, and a 12 string for me.

I must say that the PBG basswood strat is light as a feather...

Good to have you posting mate. Would love to see piccys of your other builds sometime.
