Village Guitar Pickups hand wound by TonyW...

Postie dropped off a package today..
Had a massive trouser fail and multiple joygasms when I opened it

A pair of beautifully wound and presented J Bass pups, wound to '60's specs..

What really got the juices running was the fact that Tony writes not only ohms but Henries as well... No one else bothers with that.

Thanks heaps Tony, I now can seriously get planning on the build for these beasties

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

I am just scratching the surface, kicking cans, but i do intend to always better myself, whether it be the product or the packaging or the presentation.

There is a lot on my plate at the moment, but i will boot up my servers and have a website etc etc. Hopefully by the start of the financial year, i will get into full swing and get both my machines winding.

I am always sourcing the best parts and materials available, no compromise on that ever, and if i feel a wind is not up to scratch? i will rip it apart and go again.

So plenty of changes on the way over the next few months.

Very nice work tony. May I know where do you get the pickup supplies from?

@SIMpleONe89 All supplies come from different manufacturers in the U.S.A, nothing is sourced from anywhere else. I have spent years tracking down suppliers who will ship to Australia, and dont want for instance a minimum order of Forbon of 200kg. Expensive to get supply, expensive to ship it, and hard to try and keep my prices down at 75c in the US$, but i do it.

@wokkaboy cant wait for the report on them myself, not the 1st Jazz bass set i have wound, but i dont do alot of them, these get very expensive to put together.

Packaging looks pretty nice there Tony! Pups look so nice, especially the coils!

And on the subject of Henries..... Fender use them apparently? http://intl.fender.com/en-AU/guitar-...-pickup-black/
