So my first kit hasn't cleared customs yet and i'm already planning the second one

Any idea how to achieve this look?

Yep, have a look at this J Bass that I am working on. First Ash body I have worked on and even though after all the grain popping and super smooth sanding it still came out with very strong grain definition after applying stain and TO top coats. Don't think it will ever pore & grain fill through applying more TO and have wet sanded and also 0000 steel wooled it earlier today and still not level off all the grainy bits. Looks great and will just run down the last remaining bit of TO that I have before doing a final polish and assembly.

Thanks General. Hope to finish it over the next few weeks.

When are we going to see some photos of your EX-5 under the forum completed build shots?
