HAHA thanks for the suggestion Fretty. Believe it or not a shovel guitar project has started at 4D. Wayne is helping Rozza build one. Cheers for the video's I'll check them out.
I think DB would still prefer a shovel guitar over an Iceman or Mosrite haha

I think I posted this a few weeks ago. Deserves to be posted again.

    Hahahahaha....
Actually, I am not at all adverse to the whacky idea of a shovel guitar..
Have had an idea kicking around in my head for a few years to make one out of old tractor and farm machinery parts.. Some kind of upright Bass...

Perry and co have waaaaay to much fun, it quite often gets a little crazy in the Ormsby Studio. Probably all that 80's hair metal blasting away in the background

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

Geez, I didn't know that you could play Metal on a Shovel Guitar, I bet it could Djent really well, given that it has only one string.

If you go to Rob Scallon's youtube page he has an interactive video called "Will it Djent?" which is quite funny. He also has another video of him playing Rage Against the Machine on the shovel guitar.

I found it and am watching it on youtube now, it is hilarious, here's the link:

While interacting with the video, it's made me think just how conservative the corporate music industry is with regards to the types of instruments used to create music in specific genres, it seems that a musical instrument can make or break a musician's career.
