    Wok we are rolling

    Vintage 50's style Telecaster:

    Alnico 3 Neck and Bridge

    Neck wire will be 43 AWG the Bridge 42AWG the neck will be wound RWRP

    Polepiece diameter .187"

    Polepiece height Bridge: no stagger all poles .630"

    Polepiece height Neck: no stagger all poles .671

    All constructed, just have to wind them to vintage spec, magnetize them and wax pot them when i do DB's.

    @Andy40: i can hear them in my head before i make them, and i know what type of project these are going on so i just think it out and make.

    sounds good Tony, so these pups will be suitable for a baritone neck tele ?

    I think we need to talk about Tele pups Tony, I'm currently looking and haven't found anything that really grabs me at anything like a halfway reasonable price.

    Yes thats why they have vintage pole pieces and the poles arnt staggered.

    Alnico 3 will warm the guitar up a little, less pull on those bigger strings.
    You wont saturate the tone and will provide a more natural articulate sustaining tone.
    A3 is very transparent, crisp treble scooped mids and a very clear bass tone.
    I can also wind them a bit hotter to take more treble out..

    I run very hot pickups in my Baritone, and once you get to pumping they get a bit blurred as bottom end does, they were also $300 a pair Harmonic Design Z90's, but a very very nice pickup tone wise.
