    Pablo's second scratchie

Time to start on a new project. An original shape this time.

    Simple pine blank. 45mm thick.

Leveled and thicknessed down to 42mm.

Then rough cut on the bandsaw.

    Routed to final shape.

I've got a donor neck for this one, so next step is to make up a template and rout the neck pocket. Also, I wanted to give binding a go, so instead of paying a ludicrous amount of money to stewmac for a dedicated bit, I dug around in the pile of router bits I already have and cobbled together this little baby.

10mm wide bearing on a 13mm wide bit.

Thanks Andy. And thanks Tony, I am not usually a fan of odd shapes either, this one has been banging around getting small tweaks for almost 2 years now. I'm finally (mostly) happy with it.

Cheers lads. Nicko, hardtail mate. I want it as simple as possible, one pickup, one volume, done.
