That's correct, I actually got the details on how to build one from a thread in the Freestompboxes.org forum that was started by a member called Darkrain, the circuit of the GTFO is basically a clone of the Soldano GTO Supercharger, it uses two 12AX7 Twin Triode Valves which are run at about 350V DC so that you get a very high gain Soldano SLO100 kind of sound, a friend of mine is borrowing it so he can use it in his stage rig.

Sorry to dig an old topic, but to put some light into this:

DarkRain = AnalogSound = DeXTeR's WorkShop (name on which i do hope to stay). The project was more then a soldano GTO although started like that and was divided in 2 - a free version (for personal use and non comercial use) that was posted on FSB and DIYSB and a comercial version that kept the name GTFO.
At this moment the free / public project is no longer supported by me and the original files were completely lost during a data loss.
During that period that particular tube pedal evolved in a totally different direction and at this point there is no connection between GTO and GTFO except the fact that both are using 2 x 12ax7 and 4 stages of gain.
More info about the commercial GTFO version can be found here: http://www.dextersworkshop.com/shop/...tar-overdrive/
Just to be clear the person that is posting this and the one that is giving away the unit are the same ...me, Gabriel Tudoran from EU/Romania/Bucharest

    Regards,
    Gabriel "DeXTeR" Tudoran
