    There's also John Hewitt's variant that adds a master series/parallel switch for how the pickups are linked, so you can go for BMS or more Strat'ish type tones.

    I always wanted to try to come up with a version that has series/off/parallel switching for each individual pickup instead of just the series/off setting on the BMS, but it's a little tricky with the potential series and parallel settings across all three pups... have to spend some time on it one day.

    Hi Scott, my original strat copy had a mitey mite scratch plate fitted with 3 x mini on-off-on switches for the blade style bill Lawrence 4 conductor pickups that were fitted and it did exactly what you mentioned above.

    You could have all three on together, neck & bridge, plus the usual 5 position switch combinations plus muck around with the in & out of phase sounds across those PUP's. Sadly it was left behind at a gig on Gold Coast in 1985 and really wish I still had it today as it was that good and extremely versatile through all the sounds you could achieve.
