Ok, another project underway...
I'm building a 'surf' strat using up various odds & sods of hardware that I have laying around.
And, I have finally used up all my naughty products! This build will feature Dingotone clear on neck, Wudtone Surfer Girl on the body & the maple fretboard will be treated with Dingowax. A DB ST nut was also ordered.
The goodies were picked up from Australia post today - DT neck finish, bone nut & DT wax (I understand from Adam to be a 2nd gen. formula. It also came in a nice tin). Oh my word, the wax smells unreal. My wife thought it was lip balm when I showed her and almost applied some to her lips..
I have already finished the neck (sanded upto 400 grit) with the DT neck base coat. 5 days to wait. It smells delicious and looks great. In the interim I'll take some pictures of the frankenstrat and get them uploaded.
