I only play with a drummer that doesnt count

Dont think i need to read how to play with other musos, been doing it since i was 13, and quite successfully at times. I prefer feel players and let them do their own thing, you either have a professional attitude and ability or stay at home.

    This. +100

My first band was in 1964 and there is nothing like playing as a group with the members extending each other, woodshedding won't ever give the same results.

With the current group I was playing bass and one of the guys commented on my having a couple of nice 6 stringers and asked if I would like to play lead on Little Sister ( Dwight Yoakam version ), bass hasn't been out of the case for around 12 months and we now have 6x40 minute brackets ready to go.

    ( I'm still a sh1t guitarist though )

Reason why I commented it was a good article was not for my own benefit as I too have been playing guitar since 1977 but more for the lesser experienced forum members amongst us.

Tony lighten up, someone surely can gleen something from others' experience. As I'm sure others would love a tutorial from you on the making of pickups. One of the things about a forum or community, is helping others, whilst learning yourself.
