Bodies For Nothing And The Necks Were Free

Backdate to 2010 a guy owes me lots and lots of money for guitar setups and repairs, hes a working muso so no money as usual.

Me sends him a bill for much less than what he owes me, no reply

I send him an email no reply

This went on for months so i wrote it off as a bad debt.

Answer my front door one day and there's 3 big boxes, i didnt order anything it must be a mistake? no its addressed to me, i look at the sender and the name rings a bell and the packages are from the Netherlands.

Open up first box guitar bodies, all fenders, strats, teles and all sorts of goodness, roadworn bodies, as i said all sorts.
I open a box it has parts and necks some Fender some licenced

The note inside says this should cover what i owe you, everything is above board they are not stolen or anything, i am sorry for any inconvenience.

I threw into piles what i liked and what i didn't, i ended up selling about 5 bodies and 3 necks and that easily covered my work that was owing.

Now for whats left, that i have had put away for 6 years?

1st up 2010 Telecaster American Special Body, its a second, theres a bit of bleed in the Alder just behind the bridge route, i like the body as is, i may put a mini HB in the neck i dont know.

Yeah its not too shabby Brendan, just thinking i may go a stacked single (i have a spare Bill Lawrence) and make it an Esquire, like Billy Gibbons guitar. I would try and see about wiring it as a 4 way and tapping the pickup if possible.

Body number 2, i really tossed up wether to keep this or sell, i had a beautiful tobacco sunburst as well, but a mate offered me more than i wanted for it, so it went and i am stuck with this beauty.
