    Hahaha, that is pure gold! Just imagine what pulling on the trem would do.

    On the subject of strings, does this make anyone else's skin crawl?

    BB King used to wrap the whole string on, but i bet it didnt look like that haha. I think it stems back to the days they would take the strings off, give them a boil, and put them back on.

    wow some real average work in those photo's Pabs !

    First time I've seen a broken neck/headstock held by cable ties !
    Current Builds and status
    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Its not that uncommon, Woks.
    I have seen a few with my own eyes and even had the dubious honour of repairing one...

    Best one I have seen was held together with the ubiquitous Aussie mend all...
    good ole fencing wire...............

    HAHA that's classic DB. Bit like when an Aussie car has lost the aerial the owner makes the shape of a map of Australia with a coat hanger !

    I think that would be a much better option than most of these Woks!
