    Sanding the ash body

Started the sanding of the body (I know sand sand and sand again) but the grain of the timber appears to go all the way through the body , I might wind up with a massive guitar pick made of ash . Is there some kind of filler to use I want it to be smooth and I want to finish it in the natural Dingotone finish.

Hi Michael, welcome to the forum,
Ash grain is very coarse and a grain filler will smooth out the surface. Get some Timbermate grain filler from good hardwares. It comes in many colours but I usually recommend ebony (one lighter than black) will look great on the ash with natural DT finish
