    Baritones?

    G'day Adam,

Just wondering if a baritone (thinking Ibanez RG style) is feasible?

Franken - anything's possible - will depend on the amount of baritone love there is around - unless it's a special order, Adam needs to order a certain amount and as with anyone selling product - doesn't want to be carrying excess stock with no one interested in buying it.
    Gav1393 has built a baritone from an HB-4... http://www.buildyourownguitar.com.au...light=baritone

Yeah it was only an idea. I've a scratch build in mind for something similar. Or I could just sack up and plank the cash down for the Actual Ibanez (but where's the fun in that!?)

Unfourtunatley, our factory cant get thier heads around Tenor or Baritone necks...
Even if they had the templates etc, we would have to order a minimum of 100.........
Not sure there is enough love out there for them to justify the expense.

But there is a bloke in Perth that can build you a Baritone neck to retro fit PBG bodies....

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

that's a cool idea DB, I got enough materials for a scratch maple baritone neck (well I think I have, have to check the length of a baritone neck) , might bring them next vist to please give me a hand as you probably have the template made up !

Have you got the template for the Baritone scale for your Stewmac fret slotting jig as well ?

Thats doable Woks, for the usual fee

They dont make a fretting template for Bari, all I do is mark it out and use the fret slotter "manually"....

sounds good DB, if you can please check what the overall length required for the Barry neck blank has to be, sure we discussed this in another thread about 12 months ago !

Off the top of my head it is 27" scale, so add extra for the headstock.
I would look at 40" to make sure..
