    Greetings from northern Finland

    Hi everyone,

New guy from Finland just saying hello and wishing everyone a happy new year...

The postman brought me my first Pitbull Guitars kit this morning and that sure is a good project for the beginning of the year 2016. As a background I can tell that I am a huge fan of Gibson guitars and I have always wanted a RD model. As soon as I found out that there is a kit for that spesific model I placed an order and here I am. While waiting for the kit to arrive I have been reading this forum and I was very impressed on how the new people are made to feel welcome and also the support in guitar building is excellent.

I will be making a build diary as soon as I get started. I have already checked the kit and it looks very good, can't really wait to get started.

    Hi NordicJR and welcome aboard!

And the same and some more in finnish

Moro ja tervetuloa joukkoon mukaan. Hauskaa että toinenkin suomalainen on löytäny tän lafkan ja foorumin. Asiallisia settejä ja loistava paikka oppia rakennusta.

look forward to watching your RD-1 build diary.
Ask any questions you have in the diary.
Do a mock build to make sure it all fits and start sanding.
Any idea on you plans of finish/upgrades etc ?

How far are you from Arzi ?

Just spent a couple of hours catching up on some cross-country skiing recorded before Christmas.

The Ruka (Kuusamo) World Cup Triple. I am quite envious of the snow you guys get.

Welcome to our little mad house.

We're approx 600km apart with Nordic so might not be seeing each other by accident...

For a father of two if it means travelling alone that's called an "A-class holiday". Otherwise it's called "pressurising the intra cranial arteries"...

You mean a few 6 packs trip as in the time taken for the journey.

Lived up in NQ around 1996 and it blew me away how they talked about distance in how many 6 packs of beer that were required. Clearly drinking water did not even rate a mention.
