Wow, beautiful build! As the others have said that is one sweet burst. Amazing job all round. What colours did you use for the burst? Is it Dingotone, Colortone or some other dye type?
cheers,
Gav.

Looks antique reliced already. Love the smooth burst blend.
Thanks for the nice comments, i think it,s colortone stain, started with antique amber and then did the edge with mahogany, then went over the whole thing again with amber , just rubbed the hell out of it to get the right blend , all with a soft cloth.. it came with a wooden bridge but i changed that to a tune o matic roller bridge the neck and head stock are mahogany , like the sides and back.. it is a bit amature really as i had never used nitrocellulous spray laquer before and should have put it on heavier, too scared of runs i guess.. but it gives it a worn kind of look anyway , so i am happy with that
It plays fine, but i may pull out the pots and redo them, my soldering was not the best and these ES types are a lot harder due to no cavity, so it was a bugger to get them in, loads of lessons learnt though and that was the whole idea , to learn, next one will be a lot better, all in all i am happy with how it turned out and it,s about half the weight of my Emperador LP Custom, which is a gem, 40 plus years old and beautifully made , i think every bit as good as a real gibson
Cheers

good stuff Spin glad you learnt alot from this build.
I'm puzzled this kit came with a wooden bridge so it can't be a Pitbull Guitars kit ?

Hi yes it is pitbull ES 2V if you look at the hollow body kits i t shows a picture of that bridge in the kit, it also shows the other trapeze type tailpiece which wasnt in the kit it came with the solid tailpiece it was also drilled for the solid tailpiece but no holes for the bridge i had to make a template from my Les Paul to drill those bridge post holes so i could put in the tune o matic roller bridge I guess some kits must come with different stuff, i tried a jazz floating bridge as well but it didn,t really work as it was for the bigger hollowbodies 175 i think.. anyway i just worked with what i had and added what i wanted, seems to have worked out ok and it was an experiment anyway i would have been just as happy if it had no tailpiece holes and a trapeze and floating bridge but the holes were pre drilled so that wasn,t an option Next one i will see if i can get the trapeze style, maybe do it in lemon burst
Cheers
