quick method KB, I'd be worried about over sanding the side of the neck and fingerboard

Yep me too Woks , I think the guy has just been doing it so long he can do it in his sleep.Been building a long time.it never ceases to amaze me how people come up with ways to shortcut or better the working process.

that is Chris Monk (?) who runs the electric guitars builders resource page on FB, he has some great tips and makes really nice guitars.
He is a big fan of solarez uv cured poly resin for gloss finishes as well (that should get DB fired up a bit...)
