    Smile Another Brisbanite saying hello

    Hi everyone.

Probably as gooder time as any to introduce myself. I'm an electronics engineer by day, but computers and ridiculously small components can get a tiresome day in day out ... so here I am.

Funnily enough, I have no idea how to play a guitar so figured why not make one first as a bit of pre-motivation to get learning. Bought an SG-1 kit about a month ago and needless to say, started working in it straight away. Unfortunately I haven't bothered taking photos as I was going along, or starting a build thread for that matter as I'm almost finished. It's not as top notch as some of the ones here as I have rushed it a bit as I want to get to playing it, but will put it in GOTM once its done. I can see building these things getting a bit addictive.

Welcome Rainsey from a fellow Queenslander. After reading many of the forum threads it is easy to identify the GAS addicts. Plenty of useful tips to be found too, just need plenty of time to read them all.

Hi Rainsey, welcome to the madness. Beware, building guitars is indeed very addictive.
