    Peter green/Gary Moore lp colour

Anyone got any ideas how to achieve the Peter green/Gary Moore les Paul colour? The unburst Amber yellow on the top and dark brown back and sides? I was thinking about brown dye the back, yellow dye the top then spray with a few coats of Amber tinted nitrocellulose...wish I new how to attach pics to show what I'm talking about...

Love me some Gary Moore from all stages of his career particularly Colleseum II, but give me the Splinter Group all day every day for Peter Green's work ( fragile and very sensitive playing )

Yep Stan that's the one.... And yes I'm a les Paul fan. I've been playing them since I was 14. I've got various other guitars (and had over 300), but I keep coming back to them.

At the moment I've only got 6, 3x strats (1968, 1980, 1989), 1x 1980 Greco super real egc1200 (les Paul custom), 1x 1980 Martin 0018 replica and a 1960 admira Juanita. Also got a replica 1960 fender 5f6a bassman that I build myself, 1967 Dallas arbieter fuzz face clone built by myself, fulltone ocd built by myself, and a Dunlop crybaby.

I've been playing since I was 5-6 years old and I'm 32 now, I've had my own hobby business trading vintage guitars and amps since I was 20 ish but only been building stuff for the past 2 years.
