    Headstock Shaping and Fret Job

    Hi DB,

    Just received my new ST-1 kit.

    Thanks for doing the headstock and frets.

    Fantastic job, worth every penny.

    did DB do a fret level and is it a standard F type shape headstock ?
    Current Builds and status
    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Yes and Yes.

    I just don't have the right tools to do it justice (especially the frets). I got away with it on the LP but I know it could be better.

    Additionally, having seen how good they have come up, I will need to revisit the LP frets.

    I guess one is never really completely happy

    Oh that is not to say I am not happy with the work DB has done!

    Well many years ago I tried to play a fretless bass.

    Let's just say it was not as successful as I had hoped.

    So since then I've looked for any help I can get...

    I got my STA-1 yesterday as well and I had the same things done for the same reason. Great Job DB
